🍃 What's WasteLessHQ?

It's an app made by me, Yolo*, a solo developer from Ukraine. I got frustrated at some point that throwing away food I bought but forgot about it. It's not particularly fun.

It's about optimizing expanses cost and reducing waste on the planet in general.

Every change starts from a step, even little one like one human.

Then I realized that there's no easy way to do it and apps just don't work for me.

So I decided to build my own 🌱

*Yolo: not my real name, although NGL sound cool to me.

🍪 Tracking expiry dates with ease

When I was designing it, my main goal was to make it dead simple:

1. Upload image or take a picture.
2. Wait until processing is done.
3. Review results and wait for notifications via email or calendar.

And that's it. No manual input (although you can), just take a picture, and you're done.

• Polish the app based on my mom usage feedback.
• Native Android and later iOS apps. You can follow roadmap.
• Batch import of products.
• More language support (localization).
